Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 18, 2026 · Last updated: March 18, 2026

AshlrAI ("we," "us," or "our") operates Morphkit, a CLI tool that converts React and TypeScript web applications to native SwiftUI iOS projects. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

We believe in transparency and minimal data collection. Morphkit is designed with privacy at its core — your source code never leaves your machine.

1. Information We Collect

Email Address (Waitlist)

When you sign up for the Morphkit waitlist, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you about product availability and important updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email or contacting us directly.

Anonymous Website Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors use our website. PostHog is configured in privacy-first mode: we use identified_only person profiles so anonymous visitors are not tracked as individuals. PostHog uses localStorage (not cookies) for session continuity. No cookie banner is required. All analytics data is used solely to improve the product experience.

CLI Usage Data (Optional Telemetry)

If you choose to enable telemetry in the Morphkit CLI, we collect anonymous usage data such as:

  • Commands run (e.g., analyze, generate) and their duration
  • Framework detection results (e.g., "Next.js detected")
  • Error types encountered (without stack traces or file paths)
  • Morphkit version and operating system type

Telemetry is off by default and must be explicitly opted in. You can disable it at any time.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not access or store:

  • Your source code. Morphkit's analysis runs entirely on your local machine. Your code is never transmitted to our servers.
  • Personal data from generated apps. The iOS apps Morphkit generates are yours — we have no access to them or any data they process.
  • Browsing history, cookies, or tracking pixels on our website (PostHog uses localStorage, not cookies).

3. Third-Party Services

We work with a small number of trusted third-party services:

  • xAI — If you enable AI-enhanced analysis (optional), anonymized code structure metadata may be sent to xAI's API to improve conversion quality. No raw source code is transmitted — only abstract representations such as component trees and type signatures.
  • PostHog — Product analytics configured in privacy-first mode (identified_only person profiles). Hosted in the US. Subject to PostHog's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — Stores waitlist signups (email address and signup source). Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — Processes payments for paid plans. We do not store credit card information — all payment data is handled by Stripe. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel — Hosts our website. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Notify waitlist subscribers about product availability
  • Understand aggregate website traffic and improve our documentation
  • Improve the reliability and performance of the Morphkit CLI (if telemetry is enabled)
  • Respond to support requests sent to our contact email

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address until you unsubscribe from the waitlist or request deletion. Aggregated analytics data is retained indefinitely but contains no personally identifiable information. CLI telemetry data is retained for up to 12 months.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
  • Deletion — Request that we delete your personal data
  • Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate data
  • Portability — Request your data in a portable format
  • Opt-out — Unsubscribe from communications or disable CLI telemetry at any time

For EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

We process your data based on consent (waitlist signup) and legitimate interest (improving our product). You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Our lawful basis for processing is outlined above.

For California Residents (CCPA)

We do not sell your personal information. You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information (which we do not engage in). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and minimal data collection practices. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Morphkit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to waitlist subscribers. Your continued use of Morphkit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
